Accucold offers a wide range of refrigerators and freezers that can be customized to meet the unique needs of the medical, pharmaceutical, and scientific industry. In order to provide the best products for different applications, we have put together feature packages for all sizes of our refrigeration line to help our customers find the right amount of temperature assurance to suit their storage requirements. Whether you're in need of a basic locking compact with a temperature readout or an advanced laboratory grade refrigerator to maintain a steady temperature for sensitive vaccines, our feature packages will provide the right level of storage for your activities.

VAC Series

For true temperature stability, Accucold's VAC line features specially engineered products to best comply with the CDC's recommendations for vaccine storage, with a temperature range that will stay within 2ºC of the set point. Available on compact, built-in, and ADA compliant sized refrigerators and freezers, the VAC series comes standard with a variety of features, including digital thermostats, self-closing doors, high/low temperature alarms with NIST calibrated temperature readouts, hospital grade cords, flat door liners, keyed locks, access ports for user-installed monitoring equipment, and increased wall insulation for reduced temperature consumption and improved stability. This line includes compact, built-in undercounter, and ADA compliant sizes.

MEDDT Series

MEDDT all-refrigerators and all-freezers are designed to include the features most commonly requested by medical and scientific facilities. All include a digital thermostat for advanced temperature control, a high/low temperature alarm with a NIST calibrated temperature readout, hospital grade plug for added safety, keyed locks, and an access port for user-installed monitoring equipment. Most also include wire shelves and flat door liners as recommended by the CDC. All-refrigerators come standard with internal fans. The MEDDT option is available on compact, counter height, built-in, ADA compliant, drawer refrigerators, and some mid-sized units.

MED Series

Our “original” medical grade feature package includes a wide variety of all-refrigerators, all-freezers, and select dual compressor refrigerator-freezers designed for institutional use. Units come standard with a high/low temperature alarm with a NIST calibrated temperature readout, hospital grade plug for added safety, keyed locks, and an access port for user-installed monitoring equipment. Refrigerators include internal fans. We offer the MED option on a variety of sizes, from compact to 10 cu.ft. capacity.

PLUS Series

For less strict storage needs, our PLUS series offers a wide range of refrigerators, freezers, and refrigerator-freezers designed to provide more temperature assurance than household equipment without some of our more advanced features. All PLUS models include NIST calibrated thermometers with high/low and current temperature readouts, keyed locks, and access ports for user-installed monitoring equipment. Refrigerators include internal fans, and most units feature flat door liners and wire shelves. The PLUS option is available on compact, counter height, built-in, ADA compliant, and mid-sized refrigeration.
